Turtle

The class and me watched a video. About turtles born on the beach.the turtles were playing. Then the turtles waddled on the sand.delicate they were cute. They looked delicate they were teeny tinsy tiny. They had sand on there backs. The kind of turtles  were leatherback. The turtles were flapping. There was heaps of, the turtles looked like crabs. They reach the water and they swim away.

            puriri moth!

Today jaram bought a puriri moth to school.IT is big and green it is native to nz. It is camouflage like a tree.it is cool it looks like this.And when it fly,s it go,s FLAP FLAP. But we put it back in the bush.

The phone went RING RING.The rain falls and sounds like DRIP DROP. Pigs make this sound OINK OINK. When the balloon touched  the ground it went POP.  When I turned the lights on they go FLICK.
The bomb went BOOM. Cows go MOO. The duck went quack.

why is the sky blue A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

why is the grass green?

Squirrel and the Eagle

this is a story about a squirrel and an Eagle. it all happened when an eagle tried to get a squirrel but the eagle didn't get the squirrel . so the  eagle didn't get  his dinner . this was a video . at the  start the leaves were falling and the tail of the squirrel looks like a fluff ball.

And in the middle the squirrel hid in a

Nest but the eagle found the squirrel .and the squirrel face planted.

And at the end the squirrel got In a little hole that the eagle couldn't get in.

in news paper .It was fun. In my group I had Ella, Bella, Georgia and me. Ella and Bella wrapped Georgia in newspaper. She wanted to be a fairy. Georgia had a wand, fairy wings, a fairy bag and dress.

room 8 and 9 went to the len lye and this is what we did.

and the bit that i liked most about it was that I learnt  more about len lye art. The fountains were very big and they made a cool sound. The universe sculpture looked like it was going to fall off the edge of the wood.

Guess what ? I got something new it,s green and made of beads .It goes on your wrist.I got it from an enormous red shop. It is the ware house . And the green thing is a bracelet

Me Mum Bill Connor Corbin Ben Lucas all went to air zone .it had a foam pit and a flying Fox next to it was a really high trampoline there was also dodge ball and a place to jump off the wall. I went in the foam pit I did a split jump in the foam pit and mum lost her sock.

on Friday room 8 had an assembly we hosted. It was fun. But mum or dad didn't come . I didn't do the talking with the microphone.  On stage I was in embarrassed and i did a just dance and a jump jam with the whole class.

Splash splash at the Frankley school pool. The kids were excited because there was gold at the bottom of the pool. room 8 was relaxing when along

came a robber . The robber had it's togs on.

The robber got in the pool and tried to get the gold but he couldn't get the gold out because 

it led down a secret portal and the gold turned in to watery sparkly water. This happened
at lunch time.

This is my favourite book from my reading box because it's funny because the girl said

To keep the water in the bath but tiger didn't keep the water in the bath and slipped on it.  He cut his arm and went "Ahhhhh!"

Australia

I am going to Australia. I am going to be 8 in Australia. Connor, Corbin, Ben, Lucas, Mum and Bill are going to Australia. I got $100 and I am going to get heelless . We are driving to Auckland and then we are getting the plane to Australia.
We had  to get a passport to Australia. We are staying for a week and we are staying at Turtle Beach.Turtle Beach has an awesome pool with a steep slide. Leonce is coming to Australia too.
